In this celebration of the Americas, the Los Angeles Philharmonic and music director Gustavo Dudamel premiere a new work by Pulitzer-nominated Andrew Norman and conclude with Copland’s iconic evocation of America’s wide-open spaces. Pianist Sergio Tiempo, a Caracas native and protégé of Martha Argerich, joins for a colorful concerto by fellow Argentine Alberto Ginastera.
